When you first take a mental walk through Dig Wayne’s landscapes, you feel as if you have entered an alien, yet familiar, realm.  The imagery inspires exploration.  Your eyes trail to the boundaries of the work looking for more.  There is a sense of wanting to fully expose yourself to these strange, yet familiar elements, and in doing so; Dig has transported you there to that moment in space and time.  

Dig’s innate gift is to focus his attention from the perceived reality of forgotten places and objects and to concentrate his perception into hidden micro worlds of beauty.  The imagery is sultry and tactile.  The colors are saturated.   Like an archaeologist, he takes an object in the many throws of disintegration and recreates a presence and space in real time, delivering the micro world to the macrocosm of our physical reality.
